After a long break, the Tennis Dinner returned at the Sahra Lebanese Restaurant by the river at Parramatta. In a rash move, we selected the Sultans Banquet and struggled to finish the food.
SULTANS BANQUET
Traditional hot and cold mezza plates, plus main
3 dips- hummus, labneh & baba ghanouj
2 salads fattoush and tabouli
olives and pickles
coriander potato, falafel
hand rolled sambousik (lamb pastry)
kibby nayyeh or fried kibby
garlic prawn, salt & pepper squid
fried cauliflower, lamb sausages
3 bbq skewers per person, chicken, lamb, kafta.
The inevitable belly dancer was present and Mark was persuaded join in with a very respectable performance.

Dinner was organised by Graham at the Ombretta Restaurant in Glebe. Transport and expenses arranged by Treasurer Francis. We had a full complement of 8 diners. The meal was followed by a very pleasant chat with the chef.
